Recently, the steel cutting ceremony for vessel N1057, the fifth SPP40 platform supply vessel (PSV) constructed by ROC, was held at the Steel Cutting Workshop. The successful achievement of this milestone signifies that ROC's serialized and batch construction capabilities in the high-end offshore equipment manufacturing sector are becoming increasingly mature, further enhancing its market competitiveness.
The smooth commencement of the fifth platform supply vessel marks another important achievement resulting from deepened mutual trust and close collaboration between ROC and its customer. It not only demonstrates full recognition of ROC's technical team and construction quality but also reflects the customer's confidence in ROC's ability to deliver projects on time and with guaranteed quality, laying a solid foundation for securing new orders in the future.
Since the construction of the first SPP40 vessel commenced in October last year, ROC has received orders for five vessels of the same type, all of which are progressing steadily according to plan. Currently, two vessels of the same type have been successfully launched and are in the outfitting stage at the slipway, while the other two have completed their keel-laying ceremonies and are in the block assembly and erection phase. This reflects the efficient and coordinated production model of "multiple vessels under simultaneous construction."
The commencement of this project is a critical milestone in ROC's "Sprint 2025" plan. Its construction is not merely a numerical increase in ROC's production records but also an important step toward becoming a first-class offshore equipment manufacturer.
